KIA and the BLUES
The client brief involved promoting Kia cars through an engaging partnership with the Blues rugby players. Focusing on a family friendly approach. The concept was to have a local kids rugby' club participate in a training session with three Blues players. Making the experience relatable and uplifting for families.
We aimed to capture real footage of the session, allowing the players to discuss key features of the cars naturally, ensuring that the messaging aligned with today's family, while effectively highlighting specific features that appeal to parents and young athletes alike.
Filming presented several challenges, including navigating Blues regulations that required three players to be visible at all times, ensuring the promotion remained kid-friendly and showcased the car effectively while prioritizing player safety during driving. Additionally, we needed to determine optimal filming locations for various angles as the vehicle traveled, adhere strictly to the script, manage the limited time available with the Blues players, and adapt to changing weather conditions, while keeping the shoot on budget and delivered on time.
